Terms
How Form works with you.
Short, and in plain language, so nothing about the arrangement is a surprise.
What Form does
Form helps you describe a small desktop tool and produces a native Mac application from that description. It uses an AI model to write the code, and it compiles that code on your computer.
The apps you make are yours
You own the apps Form builds for you and the descriptions you write. Form claims no rights over them and does not need a licence to them beyond what is required to build them for you.
What you are responsible for
You are responsible for what you ask Form to build and for what you do with the result. Do not use Form to build something unlawful, something that harms people, or something that handles data you are not entitled to handle.
Generated software is written by a model. Review what an app does before relying on it, especially where it touches files, money, or anyone else's information.
Paying for Form
Form runs the AI model on its own account and charges what it spends to your credits, so there is no separate provider account for you to hold or pay for. A credit is one dollar of model spend at Form's rate; your account shows what is left.
A new account gets a one-off allowance to try Form with. Pro is a monthly subscription with a monthly allowance. When your credits run out, Form stops and tells you, rather than charging you for more without asking. Payment is taken by our billing provider, and their terms cover the payment itself.
What Form does not promise
Form is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it running and to make the apps it builds correct, but software written by a model is not guaranteed to be right, and no service is guaranteed to be available. Check what an app does before you rely on it.
Ending it
Cancel whenever you like from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Unused credits do not carry over past that, and are not refunded. You can also close your account from inside Form, which deletes your account, your apps and their saved versions and cannot be undone. Apps you have already exported are yours and keep working whatever happens to your subscription.
