What Form keeps, and what it sends.
Written in plain language, describing what the software actually does rather than what a policy template usually says.
Your work stays on your Mac
Projects, conversations, saved versions, and the apps Form builds are written to
~/Library/Application Support/Form on your computer. Nothing there is uploaded
unless you sign in.
Once you are signed in, Form keeps a copy of your apps with your account — the conversation, the saved versions and their source — so they come back when you sign in on another Mac. The apps Form builds are compiled on your own machine and are never uploaded.
Work you did before signing in is not silently moved into an account. Each account gets its own separate area on disk.
What goes to the model
To write your app, Form sends the model the conversation for that project, the app's current source, the name you gave it, and — when a build fails — the compiler's output. Nothing from other projects, nothing from elsewhere on your Mac, and not your account details.
Form runs this on its own model account, so you never supply a key. Your conversations are not used to train anything.
What Form's own service holds
If you sign in, Form holds your email address, your projects and their contents, and records of usage and billing. The database enforces that only your account can read them.
Form does not collect analytics from the Mac app, does not use tracking cookies on this site, and does not sell anything to anyone.
Payment
Payment is handled by our billing provider. Form never sees or stores your card details, and keeps only what it needs to know which plan you are on and how many credits are left.
Deleting things
Deleting an app in Form removes it from your Mac and from your account, along with its saved versions. Apps you have already exported are yours and are left alone.
You can close your account from inside Form, under Your account. That deletes your account, your apps and their saved versions, and your billing record, and cancels your subscription. It cannot be undone. Apps you already exported keep working.
